THE GREAT BLUE HERON
The Great Blue Heron lives in the wetlands of many lakes large and small.
It's quite a sight to see one flying overhead with such a huge wingspan. Almost prehistoric.
This etching was done from a photo I took at Rice Lake in Ontario Canada one afternoon.
It was such a reminder of the great outdoors that I had an idea. It led to another original industrial design concept of mine - and with that said ...
The actual glass is 1/2" thick and 12" x 17" in size.
